Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long will it take for my shoes to break in?
A. Give your shoes 10-15 hours of wear to mold to your feet and reduce chances of blisters.
Q. How long will my shoes last?
A. Average shoe life is between 300-500 miles depending on the shoe. However, if 2 or more pairs are rotated, each pair’s mileage will be increased (especially helpful if running 25+ miles/week).
Q. What can I do to make my shoes last as long as possible?
A. Most importantly, wear them ONLY FOR RUNNING; Second, alternate separate pairs of shoes. Running shoes will
still be great for other activities after you are done running in them. If possible wear an old pair of running shoes for
other activities instead of your new pair.
Q. How can I wash my new running shoes?
A. The most effective way to wash them is to remove the insoles, pre-treat them, let them sit, and then scrub them off
with a scrub brush in warm water. Stuff them and let them dry in open air.
Q. How should my shoes fit?
A. In a word, loose. You want your foot to feel completely unrestricted. This means having a thumbnail width between your foot and the end of the shoe (while standing), an extremely wide forefoot, loose laces over the arch area, and a snug but not too tight heel. Fitting your shoes this way will help you run more naturally, strengthen your feet, and reduce the chances of injury.
Q. How do I prevent blisters?
A. A) Don’t wear cotton socks. B) Don’t double up on socks or wear socks that are too thick. C) Fit your shoe as described above.
D) Don’t run (not recommended)
Q. What is your return policy?
A. All returns with no receipt are for store sale price – In Store Credit only. With receipt, refunds will be given within 5 calendar days, after this period tems may be exchanged for other items or customer may be given an In-Store Credit or gift certificate. All closeout or clearance item sales are final.
